FACTORY MANAGER
The Factory Manager cum VP Manufacturing is the leader of the manufacturing team and reports directly to the CEO. The manager will lead, organise, and manage personnel and activities in all manufacturing activities. Being part of an early-stage startup, they will be directly responsible for building the manufacturing arm of the organisation. They will be part of the organisation’s journey, from putting industry best practices in the pilot facility to creating a world-class manufacturing team.

What You’ll Do

Direct and coordinate daily operations of the processing facility.

Design and oversee all levels of plant activity and their performances.

Ensure company and regulatory policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Build a team for manufacturing activities which will include but not be limited to hiring, training and motivating the team.

Monitor and care for equipment and ensure they are in excellent working order.

Maintain, repair or replace and improve plant equipment as deemed necessary.

Design any subsequent implementation and proper management of industry best practices in inventory management, 5S, store spares, tooling etc.
Who You Are
-
A candidate with experience as either a Production Engineer or a Maintenance Engineer.

Preferably a candidate with a background in mineral processing or chemical manufacturing industry.

Preferably a candidate with 10-15 years of relevant industry experience.

Preferably a post-graduate or a graduate from a premier institute.

A candidate who can start between 1st May - 1st June to work full-time from our office.
